IntarsiaCreations makes wooden pictures.  There are two types of pictures, referred to as intarsia and fretwork.  The majority of the pictures in the gallery are intarsia.

Click on any of the pictures above to see a larger image.  There is an interesting story with the middle picture. The pictures are unique because: 
  • No paint or stain is used. The colors come from the natural shading and grain in the wood.  
  • The pictures are made up of individually cut and shaped pieces that are 3-dimensional. The Pin Cushion Cat has 24 pieces, United States and Europe has 147 individual pieces from 33 different woods and  the Lil' Dog in Shoe has 35 pieces.
